Effective February 17, AV-industry veteran Greg Caves will join Display Development as senior vice president of sales.
“It’s great to have Greg back in the home theater industry,” said Jim Burns, president and founder of Display Development. “Greg and I developed a strong relationship when, for 10 years, we worked hand in hand at Runco International. He was a big part of shaping the home theater industry, and his experience will play an integral role in our continued growth in the custom home theater market in the U.S. and abroad.”
Greg brings to Display Development more than 30 years of sales and sales-management experience. His defining moments in home theater began in 1994, when he joined Runco; most recently, he served as North American sales manager for Planar.
Jim and Greg previously worked together for the launch of the Cinewide projection systems, an advance in projection capability that allowed Runco sales to jump from $8 million to $60 million.
“We expect our dealers to find this new collaboration to yield a more powerful solution and cornerstone to their installations,” said Burns.
