Lutron Electronics has announced the winners of its 2026 North American Excellence Awards and its newest Hall of Fame inductee.
Established in 2003, the Lutron Excellence Awards celebrate the industry’s top integration firms for their technical mastery, design innovation, and outstanding execution of Lutron projects. In 2025, Lutron expanded the program by creating two distinct competitions — one dedicated to companies based in North America and another for integration firms based outside the U.S. and Canada.
Winners of the North American competition were announced at CEDIA Expo 2026. International winners will be recognized at the 2027 Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) tradeshow in Barcelona, Spain.
The 2026 North American Excellence Awards winners are:
- Best Use of Motorized Window Treatments: Brading Specialty Shades from Toronto, Canada
- Best Integrated Project using Lutron Intelligent Lighting, Controls, and Window Treatments: Hometronics from Dallas, Texas with Advanced ESI from Sarasota, Florida
- Best Use of Intelligent Lighting Systems: ListenUp from Denver, Colorado
- Best Renovation/Retrofit Project: Texas Electric from Kyle, Texas
- Best Collaboration with an Architect, Interior Designer, or Lighting Designer: Sunbelt Technology from Atlanta, Georgia
- Best Overall Project from a New Lutron Dealer: Collaborative Integration from Westport, Massachusetts
- Best Collaboration with a Builder or Developer: OneButton from Brooklyn, New York
The 2026 North American Lutron Excellence Awards judges are: Dennis Burger (Audio Unleashed), Zachary Comeau (CE Pro), Cindy Davis (AV Technology / Residential Systems), Rob Stott (Connected Design), and Jonathan Takiff (Techlicious/TechHive).
In addition to the awards, Lutron also announced that Chesley Electric of Park City, Utah, has been added to the Lutron Hall of Fame, which was created in 2009 to recognize excellence and global dedication in the marketplace. Companies are evaluated on several components: years of doing business with Lutron, loyalty, market reputation, dedication to their business, market expansion efforts, execution of Lutron initiatives, project innovations using Lutron products, and revenue growth.
In February, Lutron announced the addition of two international companies to the Lutron Hall of Fame: Anusha Technovision from Delhi, India, and LMS from London, United Kingdom. Chesley Electric is the newest inductee.
