In our series of #CEDIAShares blogs, we’re talking with exhibitors about the hottest technologies and trends they’re looking to see at CEDIA Expo.
Q&A with Mark Corbin, president, Vanco International.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2026?
CEDIA Expo gives us the opportunity to connect directly with the residential integration community at a time when many of our dealers are expanding what “residential” work looks like. More integrators are being asked to support not only traditional home theater, distributed audio, and outdoor entertainment, but also light-commercial and resimercial applications such as restaurants, clubhouses, hospitality spaces, small offices, fitness areas, and amenity spaces.
That is a natural fit for Vanco. We have always served integrators with practical solutions that solve real job-site challenges, whether the project is in a home, a business or somewhere in between. At CEDIA Expo 2026, we’re focused on showing how our portfolio helps dealers move fluidly across those environments without adding unnecessary complexity.
For us, CEDIA is also about listening. The conversations we have with dealers at the show help us understand where their businesses are growing and what kinds of solutions will help them win more projects.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
The most exciting trend is the continued blending of residential and light-commercial AV. “Resimercial” is not just a buzzword anymore; it is becoming a real business opportunity for integrators.
Homeowners are asking for more sophisticated entertainment spaces, outdoor zones, golf simulators, game rooms, pool houses, and multi-display environments. At the same time, many residential integrators are being asked to support restaurants, bars, clubhouses, retail spaces, small offices and hospitality projects because those customers already trust them. The needs are often very similar: reliable distribution, flexible audio, simple control, and systems that can expand without becoming difficult to manage.
What makes this shift interesting is that integrators do not always need an entirely different toolbox to pursue those opportunities. They need products that are professional enough for commercial environments but still approachable enough for residential-style installation and support.
AVoIP, networked audio, outdoor audio, and flexible zone control all play into this trend. The integrators who can design systems that are scalable, reliable, and easy for the end user to operate will be well positioned to grow on both sides of the market.
What will you focus on at the show?
At CEDIA Expo 2026, we’re focused on showing integrators how Vanco can help them take on residential, resimercial, and light-commercial projects with products that are powerful without being overcomplicated.
EVO-IP Go will be a major focus. It brings the flexibility of AVoIP to applications that need reliable 4K HDMI distribution but do not require enterprise-level complexity. It is designed to run on a dedicated network using managed or unmanaged switches, and the transmitter and receiver boxes discover each other automatically with no control box, VLAN, or complicated configuration required. With PoE support, app-based control, and video wall support, it is a practical option for sports bars, restaurants, meeting spaces, clubhouses, classrooms, and larger residential entertainment systems.
We’ll also highlight new Beale Street Audio 6-inch and 8-inch surface-mount indoor/outdoor speakers. These IP66-rated speakers are designed for patios, pool decks, dining areas, lobbies, and other spaces where integrators need durable, flexible audio coverage.
Finally, we’ll showcase our new Dante Audio Adapters. These compact adapters let integrators add Dante connectivity to analog, XLR, ARC, USB-C, and Bluetooth audio devices, making it easier to bring more sources and endpoints into networked audio systems.
