Brews, barbeque, and great times were the vibe at Destination Backyard, presented by Coastal Source and Seura. Fantastic audio and displays were front and center in the CEDIA Expo outdoor area that captured the feeling of a festive summertime backyard get-together, while attendees sipped on drinks in the Texas sun.
On display for Coastal Source were a full array of bollard speakers perfect for capturing any outdoor ambiance you might need. Plus, outdoor amplification boxes, junction boxes and streaming boxes ensure that your outdoor media not only sounds great but is safe from the elements.
Coastal Source’s expansive line of landscape lighting was on display to show how your outdoor areas can look as picturesque as your original concept. Whether it’s the discreet lighting of stylish Niche lights or the traditional curbside appeal of bullet and path lighting systems, Coastal Source offers a variety of lighting solutions.
Katy Gertz of Suera said Suera’s Full Sun Series of outdoor TVs were the crowd favorite. “Everyone seems to love them,” she said. “They look great online, but when people really get out and see them in the direct sunlight, that’s when they really impress.”
The Full Sun Series did hold up in the sunlight, looking great whether displaying a movie or videogame. The Full Sun Series TVs are available in 50-, 65- and 85-inch models.
In addition to the Full Sun series, Suera also featured the aptly named Shade Series of outdoor TVs at Destination Backyard. Available in 55-, 65- and 75-inch models, the display looked fantastic in the cool shade Suera had set up. Offering premium picture quality at a much lower price point than the Full Sun Series, the Shade Series was called “the best value we’ve seen” by Custom Electronic Group.
