Bluesound has added TIDAL, a high-fidelity music streaming service with HD music videos and curated editorial, to its collection of music services. Bluesound is a wireless multi-room audio system.
TIDAL for Bluesound
Bluesound has introduced this latest software release to enable owners to fully integrate TIDAL’s music service with Bluesound’s digital and wireless streaming technology. The partnership allows users to achieve a more complete home audio system by combining the highest quality performance and ease of use with a comprehensive online CD-quality music service.
TIDAL is a new music streaming service from the creators of WiMP, a popular music streaming service based in Norway that recently launched in the U.S. and UK with a vast music library in lossless 16-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC and ALAC format. Bluesound will be the first of TIDAL’s partners to fully integrate the service into its products, allowing owners to stream TIDAL’s library of more than 25 million tracks to their HiFi music players through a home network, either via Wi- Fi or Ethernet, with simple control on any iOS or Android device.

Bluesound owners can sign up for the TIDAL service directly through the free Bluesound controller App for iOS and Android or through the desktop version for PCs and Macs, available for download directly from the Bluesound website.
