Capitol is introducing a three-tiered approach to providing its customers free shipping with the least amount of hassle.
“There’s no doubt that that increasing fuel costs and related expenses are affecting shipping costs for everybody, from manufacturers to distributors and dealers,” said Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president and CFO. “But that won’t stop us from developing programs that eliminate these expenses without affecting our unshakable commitment to providing the best shipping options in the business.”
Beginning August 5, Capitol’s new shipping program goes into effect with three distinct tiers that guarantee free shipping for all but the smallest orders.
– Any online order with in-stock product of $99 or more will receive free parcel ground freight
– Any order with in-stock product of $900 or more and ordered via phone, fax or email will receive free parcel ground freight
– Any order with Energy Star TV product that requires shipment via truck qualifies for free or reduced Standard Ground service
The new freight program applies to shipments in the lower 48 states and to the primary business location only.
