Minneapolis, MN–Chief Manufacturing has announced that its steel stud mount kits and accessories are the first in the industry to be listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). The UL listing ensures that the mounting kits and accessories have achieved the safety standards set forth by UL. Chief worked directly with UL to manufacture the industry’s first UL listed steel stud swing arms for 10- to 50-inch flat panel displays up to 125 lbs (18 kg).
Solving a real challenge for installers, the kits safely integrate Chief swing arm mounts into steel stud installations. Choose from fully assembled kits that include all needed hardware or retrofit existing swing arm mounts with a convenient adapter plate accessory.
Chief was recently approved by the UL to be a certified Client Data Test Site (CDTS). With the new test site, Chief will be able to test most products for UL standards in-house and submit the paperwork to UL for review (automated products will not be tested by Chief).
