Control4 has revealed the winners of its 2013 Dealer Awards.
Spending time with Martin Plaehn, CEO of Control4 and the CytexOne dealers, who won Best Corporate Install.
Now in its fifth year, the annual Control4 Dealer Awards recognize those who have excelled with superior business practices, service and technical support for clients, and sales volume. Awards include special recognition of innovative Control4 projects within the light commercial and residential space, including categories such as lighting, multi-room audio, security, climate, corporate solutions, and more.
“Each year we look forward to presenting the Control4 Dealer Awards at CEDIA because it provides the perfect opportunity to reward and acknowledge our Dealers for the hard work, dedication and innovation they bring to their customers, and the custom install industry as a whole,” said Jim Arnold, senior vice president of sales for Control4. “These are the professionals who are consistently going above and beyond, demonstrating what it means to be a great custom integrator, we enjoy having the chance to honor the best of the best.”
Taking home the most prestigious of the awards, Abt Electronics out of Chicago, IL, was named the Control4 Dealer of the Year for 2013.
“Abt has a long history in the electronics industry, and they have impressed us with their business, sales, and double digit growth year after year, even in tough economic times,” said Arnold. “Their in-house technical support staff is amazing. Couple that with the strong customer relationships they’ve been able to foster and it’s no wonder Abt has continuously been able to drive new business opportunities.”
The Control4 4Thought award, now in its second year, recognizes one dealer that has had a substantial impact within their community through service, donation and contribution.
“We think it’s important to for all businesses to have a social conscience, and many of our dealers are making good use of Control4 system integration for philanthropic work in their communities,” added Arnold.
The second annual 4Thought Award was presented to Extreme AVS in Hauppauge, NY. Extreme AVS used Control4 automation to help the Donnelly Donation Project in creating a smart home for a wounded Iraq War veteran, who is also the recipient of a Purple Heart.
Neu Wave Systems Inc. in Raleigh, NC was presented with the Control4 Tech Support Choice Award for offering superior technical support and knowledge.
