Orlando, FL–Ginn Resorts, known for providing family vacations, golfing getaways, and permanent homes, has signed a four-way partnership with Control4, Connexion Technologies, and Circuit City, for home automation in its new resorts.
The exclusive agreement includes the installation of Control4’s automation hardware, software, and custom programming for Ginn Resorts. Circuit City will handle the onsite installations. Connexion Technologies, which designed and installed Ginn Resorts’ Fiber to the Home (FTTH) infrastructures, will manage the delivery of all telecommunications services.
With delivery planned at nine of Ginn Resorts’ properties, Control4’s system is designed to simplify the process of scheduling amenities, enjoying entertainment systems, and locating favorite channels.
“We make regular investments in the latest technology to improve the Ginn Resorts’ guest experience,” said Bobby Ginn, Ginn Resorts president and CEO. “With the installation of Control4’s system, guests can now access custom settings in any of our resorts. For example, guests can request a tennis time through the system. The Pro Shop sees the request and calls the guest, scheduling the court time at the guest’s convenience.”
