Crestron is now shipping its new ADMS Intermedia Delivery System, which was designed to change the way media is experienced and remove all boundaries between TV, movies, music, and the Internet.
ADMS accesses any type of entertainment or information from a variety of content providers and displays selections in 1080p and digital surround sound. Users can directly play, stream, or download any choice of title from the onscreen menu without ever exiting the ADMS environment or opening a separate application.
Exclusive WorldSearch technology performs fast intermedia searches, instantly displaying the results in a graphical onscreen menu. Using the optional wireless compact keyboard or virtual keyboard on a Crestron touchpanel, the WorldSearch engine collects and displays the full spectrum of available content related to any entered keyword, and selections are organized and displayed based on relevance and quality.
Part of a complete home entertainment system, ADMS features a 1TB RAID 1 hard drive, a powerful search engine and beautiful graphical interface to gather any type of content from a wide selection of sources, whether on the local hard drive, network device or online. Optional 4TB RAID5 NAS (Network Access Storage) drives may be connected for additional hard drive storage.
To accommodate Blu-ray Discs, the ADMS solution also includes an optional 200-disc Blu-ray changer, which enables intuitive and dynamic browsing of an entire Blu-ray/DVD collection. Up to five changers may be cascaded to hold up to 1,000 discs. Even home movies can be included in the ADMS library, searchable with WorldSearch, and instantly accessed.
The most music formats, including Apple iTunes, Windows Media, and MP3 are supported by ADMS.
With Amazon Video OnDemand onboard, ADMS brings the largest selection of movies for rent or purchase to an HD display. Complete online catalogs are updated daily, providing immediate access to new releases. The ADMS also provides instant access to online video content from sites such as Hulu, Joost, Vimeo, Metacafe, YouTube and others. ADMS natively streams online TV shows, movies and videos in full screen HD.
