D-Tools has announced the latest version of its award-winning System Integrator software, SIX. This major on-premise release has been re-imagined and re-architected to increase efficiency and productivity for integrators of low voltage systems.

SIX leverages D-Tools’ expanded cloud infrastructure to deliver high quality equipment data, provide partners with direct marketing services, and establish the foundation for future mobile and web-based applications. D-Tools System Integrator is currently used by over 4,400 integration companies to streamline the design, estimation, and documentation processes associated with the installation and integration of AV, energy/lighting, and security systems.

D-Tools SIX focuses on performance and ease of use and provides systems integrators and custom installation professionals with a solution for creating fast, accurate, data-driven project proposals and client documentation, detailed system designs in either Microsoft Visio or Autodesk AutoCAD, and project management capabilities that help ensure projects are completed on time and to budget. Users can download product specifications from D-Tools’ database of hundreds of thousands of products and accessories. This gives installers the advantage of designing and documenting systems using current product information while saving on product research time.

“We are extremely pleased to officially launch and make our latest release available to users at CEDIA,” said Adam Stone, president and CEO of D-Tools. “Our first version of the software premiered at CEDIA in 1998, and this show continues to be the premier venue for our major product releases. With this major upgrade, we provide the foundation and begin the next generation of providing tools to help our customers better manage the project lifecycle, from data management, workflow, reporting, and providing a direct connection for our users and manufacturer partners to communicate–both on premise and for mobile applications–we will help our customers improve efficiency and ultimately, profitability.”

D-Tools will officially launch SIX at CEDIA EXPO, booth #4554 and will be available to customers on September 30, 2012.
