San Diego, CA–Hitachi America Ltd., Ubiquitous Business Platform Systems Division, Business Group has appointed Kirk Hammond to the position of regional sales manager. Kirk has more than 15 years experience in the professional audio/video industry, with previous sale and marketing management positions in the AV dealer, retail and computer VAR channels.
Kirk has previous experience with the Hitachi family, having held the position of director of U.S. sales and marketing for Hitachi Software from 1999 to 2002. Most recently, he was the national sales manager for Vutec Corporation. Kirk has also worked with Artisoft and Boeckeler Instruments.
