Catering to the needs of custom integrators seeking to commercial display solutions, LG Electronics USA Business Solutions showcased its OLED video wall and “Wallpaper” commercial displays at the recent CEDIA trade show.

Catering to the needs of custom integrators seeking to commercial display solutions, LG Electronics USA Business Solutions showcased its OLED video wall and “Wallpaper” commercial displays at the recent CEDIA trade show.

“LG OLED commercial displays empower business owners with the best picture quality on the market,” said Clark Brown, digital signage vice president, LG Electronics USA Business Solutions. “Building on the success of our Dual-View Flat, Curved-Tiling and Open Frame commercial LG OLED displays, our new LG OLED Video Wall and Wallpaper solutions provide even greater creative installation flexibility, making them perfect for high-profile premium digital signage environments.”

At CEDIA, LG Electronics USA Business Solutions also highlighted a new program called “LG PRO Design” that supports LG OLED commercial display integrators with enhanced technical support, product training and design files, as well as VIP access to LG’s state-of-the-art Business Innovation Center.

The new 65- inch class LG OLED Video Wall displays, available this month, feature 4K UHD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and wide viewing angles. When tiled together, the displays create a video wall display that can add artistic value and enhance consumer engagement in premium spaces, including museums, airport lounges, and high-end retail environments.

At CEDIA 2017, LG featured an “In-Glass Wallpaper” OLED digital signage display with dual-sided ultra-slim 55-inch class OLED panels in a glass pane. The concept was meant to show display possibilities for boutiques, art galleries, and other businesses that want to add a sophisticated touch to their interior décor, according to the company.

The In-Glass Wallpaper LG OLED solution will be available in standing and hanging versions to provide businesses flexible options. Electronic components are housed in a separate control box connected to the display with a 2-meter (6.5-foot) cable.

The launch of the LG OLED Wallpaper commercial displays comes on the heels of the introduction of the LG SIGNATURE OLED W7 TVs for the consumer market at CES 2017 and highlighted at CEDIA 2017.

The expanded commercial LG OLED 2017 lineup also includes flexible customizable Open Frame, Wallpaper, Dual-View Flat, and Curved Tiling models.

LG also showcased the 86-inch Ultra Stretch Display at CEDIA 2017. At just over seven feet long and one foot wide, this display offered integrators flexibility in installation and doubles as a piece of décor, making it appropriate for public display installations, including retail, financial, transportation, QSR, and wayfinding. Integrators may also connect four different displays to one panel through the display’s Picture-by-Picture feature, and users can easily daisy chain multiple displays together.

LG’s new PRO Design loyalty program offers several resources created to enrich an integrator’s understanding of and access to LG’s commercial solutions, designs and technologies. Developed in consultation with architects, designers, and consultant firms, LG PRO Design targets integrators, architects, designers, and consultants who regularly work on corporate, retail outlets, hospitality, and public spaces. The new program is designed to give professionals, often involved in the integration decision-making process, access to industry trend insights, dedicated technical and sales support, unique product training programs, and research that will enhance their ability to successfully execute their design visions.
