Scottsdale, AZ — NuVision has appointed industry veteran Jim McGall as vice president of business development.
McGall has spent more than 25 years in the consumer electronics industry, including a stint as vice president of sales and marketing at Runco International, where he headed up the Vidikron division of home theater projectors and flat-panel displays.
McGall will now execute NuVision’s strategic growth plans with the CEDIA custom home installation dealer network, and focus on identifying new product category opportunities.
“Once I sat down with the team here at NuVision and got to hear about their goals and their plans, I was extremely excited to become part of that,” McGall said. “I’m eager to reach out to dealers and installers to show them the exciting things NuVision has to offer.”
During his career, McGall has held senior sales/marketing positions with such CE manufacturers as Matsushita/Panasonic, Screen Research, and InterAct’s STD Manufacturing Ltd., among others. McGall is also a classically trained musician (University of Tennessee) and is married with five children.
