OmniMount has promoted Scott Ashbaugh to the vice president of sales operations (U.S. and export). He formerly served as senior director of sales operations.
Ashbaugh has been with OmniMount since 2003 and will now focus on managing the company’s sales forecasting for all channels as well as driving the export business, in addition to continuing to oversee customer service and trade shows.
“OmniMount continues to focus on growing its distribution on a global level, making shopping for flat panel accessories easier for end users,” Ashbaugh stated. “I’m especially focused on understanding the needs of our domestic and international retail partners and helping them drive sales in their stores.”
Ashbaugh brings more than 17 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry to his new position. Before joining OmniMount, he was a buyer at Ultimate Electronics, where he was responsible for purchasing the furniture, accessories, audio, and telecom categories for the retail giant.
“Scott has been an integral part of the OmniMount sales team in multiple capacities for more than seven years now, and his background gives him the experience essential to growing and helping support our sales efforts,” OmniMount senior vice president of sales and marketing Alex Robertson said. “Scott has the knowledge to continue our efforts to be best in class at customer support.”
