Polk Audio has promoted three of its most senior executives, effective immediately.
Ben Newhall, formerly VP of sales, was promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing. Jeff Nemec, formerly VP of product development, was promoted to senior VP of product development; and Joe Tristani was promoted from COO to senior vice president and COO.

In announcing the promotions, Polk chairman, president, and CEO Jim Minarik said, “Since we [DEI Holdings, Inc.] acquired Polk in 2006, Joe, Jeff and Ben have done outstanding jobs in each of their respective areas of responsibility. In particular, their combined efforts and leadership have played a huge role in leading Polk through this past year’s economic turmoil while simultaneously gaining meaningful market share in our core product category of home theater loudspeakers.
