Theory Professional is showing its SR Series at ISE 12026, a new line of passive and powered loudspeakers specifically designed for sound reinforcement applications.
At the show, Theory has previewe a unique full-range loudspeaker: The extreme output SR-221.3 features integral dual 21-inch, 3600-watt low frequency drivers, four 10-inch carbon fiber high-output midrange drivers, and a 5-inch wide band ring radiator compression driver. With a bandwidth of 27 Hz–20 kHz, –3 dB, ~140 dB SPL, and ultra-wide 170- x 60-degree coverage, one to two SR-221.3 loudspeakers can fill medium-sized venues with high-output and high-fidelity sound. Powered, passive, portable, and install versions will be available in Q2 2026.
All of Theory’s new SR Series loudspeakers are built-to-order and unite lively dynamics, high maximum output level, and refined acoustic performance. Surprisingly compact, the powerful, high-fidelity SR models won’t interfere with aesthetics — they can be installed discreetly, and in tighter locations.
The SR Series’ design includes ergonomic handles, multiple fly points, industry-standard mount points, and pole cups. The eight models are available in black and white, and passive or active versions, depending on the installation need. Available upgrades include custom paint matching and weatherizing (on the passive versions only).
Optional accessories include the Theory SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Brackets used to install the smaller SR Series loudspeakers on the wall, ceiling, floor (as a monitor), and other surfaces. Intelligent Caster Kits and a Dolly Board are also available.
