Origin Acoustics has launched Origin Marquee Theater, a new lineup of architectural speakers. With integrated passive crossovers, in-wall and on-wall configurations, and a more approachable price point, Marquee Theater brings serious cinematic performance to more projects without the complexity typically associated with specialized theater systems. A more approachable price point also brings high-performance theater audio within reach of more customers.
Built on the proven enclosure architecture of Ambisonic Marquee Theater, the new lineup combines familiar installation practices with newly developed horn-loaded silk dome tweeters and thoughtful engineering throughout.
Unlike theater systems that rely on dedicated active processing and individual amplifier channels for each driver, Marquee Theater features integrated passive crossovers, allowing speakers to operate with a broad range of traditional AV receivers and amplifiers. This approach simplifies system design, reduces amplifier channel requirements, and gives integrators greater freedom to select equipment based on the needs of each project.
For dealers looking to take performance further, the speakers can also be paired with
At the heart of Origin Marquee Theater is a newly developed horn-loaded silk dome tweeter, engineered to deliver smooth, detailed high frequencies with clarity and warmth, even at elevated listening levels. Paired with precision-engineered drivers and acoustically optimized enclosures, the system delivers the dynamic range, detail, and impact that bring cinematic content to life.
The new tweeter technology reflects Origin’s continued investment in acoustic engineering, combining the controlled sound dispersion benefits of horn loading with the natural, refined character of a silk dome.
Available in both in-wall and on-wall configurations, Origin Marquee Theater gives integrators more options for incorporating high-performance audio into a wide range of architectural environments.
The series builds on the familiar enclosure architecture of Ambisonic Marquee Theater, helping streamline installation for dealers already familiar with the platform.
Origin Marquee Theater is available through authorized Origin Acoustics dealers.
