Shelly Group has announced the integration of Shelly devices with Brilliant NextGen. The first two Shelly sensors — the Shelly Bluetooth Motion and Shelly Bluetooth Door/Window — along with the Shelly Bluetooth-to-Wi-Fi gateway and Shelly relay lineup, are fully integrated with the Brilliant platform and available to every Brilliant user.
Brilliant users can now seamlessly sync Shelly sensors into their system in two ways: through a direct Bluetooth connection with Brilliant Controls or via the Shelly Bluetooth-to-Wi-Fi gateway. Once connected, these Shelly sensors provide the Brilliant platform with real-time awareness of motion, entry/exit activity, and occupancy throughout the home, powering smarter automations and enhanced safety across the Brilliant experience.
The integration will also extend to the Shelly relay lineup, empowering Brilliant users to control and automate everything from switches, outlets, and appliances to low-voltage devices, pumps, motors, and just about any wired electrical item found within the home. Scheduled for release by the end of September, the Shelly relay integration brings previously unconnected wired devices into the Brilliant platform. For frictionless access, compatible Shelly sensors are currently available for purchase directly through the Brilliant online store with additional devices added as the integration continues to expand.
In the months ahead, the two companies plan to broaden their integration with additional sensors and functionality that will further deepen control and optimization across Brilliant homes and systems.
