Crestron’s CEDIA Expo 2026 booth was a bit different this year: Instead of focusing solely on traditional product rollouts, the company placed its new configuration platform, Configure Pro, center stage, showing how it works with all of Crestron’s product lines. They also gave attendees a preview of the deployment, control, lighting, and shading products it plans to release before the end of the year.
Here are Crestron’s latest advances:
- Configure Pro: After first debuting at CEDIA last year, the Configure Pro platform is now in the hands of our pros to help them build, deploy, and deliver Crestron Home OS environments. An evolving platform, feature updates will continue to refine the full configuration workflow to manage initial setup, advanced logic, scene management, and more. The latest course from the Crestron Technical Institute (CTI) offers self-paced training for pros to get acclimated to the platform and learn all that it has to offer at their own speed. - Multiview Entertainment: The Crestron Multiview experience is expanding, making it easier than ever to turn one single display into a hub of several video sources. With fewer screens to mount and wire, the Multiview experience turns large format displays into an entertainment hub and removes the barriers to balancing multiple broadcasts for a seamless experience. Multiview is available in 18 compositions that feature up to six sources each, and the feature is now dynamically recallable from Crestron Home OS. Expected: September 2026
- New Lighting DIN Modules: The 8-Channel Universal Switch (DIN-8SWU8) and the 4-Channel Universal Dimmer (DIN-4DIMU4) are two next-generation DIN Rail modules engineered for the LED era. Taking into account the historical complexity of centralized residential lighting projects, these solutions replace multiple legacy devices and reduce panel sizes by half, delivering more compact solutions to support faster installation workflows. Intentionally designed as a matched pair, the Crestron portfolio lineup now includes two versatile devices for centralized residential lighting that simplify the stock dealers need to keep on hand. - Crestron 80 Series Touchscreens and New 15-inch Model: First debuted at ISE earlier this year, the 80 Series touchscreen lineup brought radar proximity sensing, auto-brightness, improved microphones and speakers for intercom communications, and PoE+ or Wi-Fi connectivity. That portfolio is expanding with a 15-inch display that will be Crestron’s largest residential touchscreen yet. The larger model allows UI elements to be displayed larger, perfect for accessibility enhancements, or offering a more prominent display in key areas where whole-home control is necessary. Future firmware updates will introduce further flexibility, enabling all 8-, 10-, and 15-inch models to be rotated for portrait orientation. Now Available; 15-Inch Expected: October 2026
- Roller Shade Sample Book and Fabric Refresh: A refreshed Roller Shade Fabric Collection brings eight new fabric collections with Designer and Heritage families spanning sheer, light filtering, and blackout options. The completely redesigned sample bag creates a portable, field-ready system to run through 222 sampled fabric SKUs, which includes 58 brand-new options. Expected: November 2026
