Capitol is giving its dealer customers a new path to profitability by offering Hisense televisions, including many of the company’s new Sharp-branded models.
Specifically, Capitol now offers the Hisense 65-inch 65H10B 4K curved ULED 3D TV, in addition to 14 Sharp LED models, ranging in size from the 50-inch LC50N7000U to the 75-inch LC75N8000U.
Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president and CFO, commented on the need to increase product offerings in order to entice more consumers to invest in an Ultra HD TV.

“CE and CI dealers alike are anxious to increase their TV offerings with a wide range of 4K models that give consumers every reason to upgrade from HD,” said Hayes. “Understanding this need on the part of the trade, Hisense wisely invested in the Sharp brand, which continues to be a highly recognizable and respected name in the marketplace. It’s the perfect blend of performance, price, and brand recognition that make them one of the biggest success stories in consumer TV.”
Hisense USA Corporation, a Georgia-based subsidiary of the Hisense Company Ltd., headquartered in Qingdao, China, offers an extensive selection of electronics and appliances in the North American market. The company’s approach to product design is to blend advanced engineering with intuitive operation. In 2015, Hisense acquired Sharp America’s TV business, including Sharp’s TV manufacturing facility in Mexico.
This year, the company announced multiple models from both the Hisense and Sharp brands.
