Somfy has launched magnetic charging options for its V2 Li-ion Embedded Motors and Li-ion External Battery Pack.
The new accessories include an adaptor cable for use with the traditional V2 Li-ion motors and external Li-ion battery pack. A rigid extension cable with magnetic contact makes it easier to connect the V2 charger to the motor or battery, depending on the installed product. The added level of convenience can reduce regular wear and tear on the charging port by making it easier to connect the charging cable magnetically.
The magnetic charger is compatible with current V2 RTS motors as well as those powered by Zigbee as recently announced by Somfy at the International Window Coverings Expo last month.
