SVS Ships SoundPath Audio Interconnect Cables

SVS has launched the SoundPath Audio Interconnect Cables for all low-frequency and full-range interconnect applications.

SVS has launched the SoundPath Audio Interconnect Cables for all low-frequency and full-range interconnect applications.

SVS SoundPath cables are engineered to achieve state-of-the-art electrical performance and flawless signal transfer through smart, efficient design that maximizes value and maintains signal integrity, the company says. In any full-range audio system, ultra-wide bandwidth and exceptionally low capacitance are hallmarks of superior cabling. SVS says that it achieves this through a combination of cold-fused gold plating on the center pin and the outer contact ring and multi-strand high-purity copper center and outer conductors.

The SoundPath audio cables’ outer shell is made of highly polished, rugged chrome-plated brass with a handsome black nylon covering and color-coded polarity band for easier set-up. The center conductor and shield are both hand-soldered to the RCA connector and the outer 8mm PVC jacket is secured to the RCA connector with a large diameter set screw which firmly holds the jacket against the RCA body.

“High performance audio cables handle an important job in audio set-ups, but at the audiophile level they are mythically over-priced for what they contribute,” said Gary Yacoubian, president and managing partner at SVS. “We’ve earned customer loyalty by designing high-performance, high-value products. Our SoundPath audio cables do exactly what a quality audio interconnect should do; maintain strong signal integrity at all times, withstand long-term heavy usage and look good while doing it.”

Shipping now, the cables are available in lengths ranging from two to15 meters and costing between $29.99 and $59.99.
