Platinum Tools recently began shipping its Cable Prowler Pro Test Kit (part number TCB360K1) with an MSRP of $749.95. In developing the product, the company says it analyzed what a field technician would need to carry for the variety of jobs, and came up with a kit that include accessories to augment and optimize the value of the its Cable Prowler Color Display Tester. Kitted together with different adapters in a hard-shell carrying case, the kit offers the professional installer a Cable Prowler Tester with color LCD display; #1-8 Network/Tel Test and ID Remotes; #1-8 Push on Coax Remotes; #1- 12 RJ45 Data Smart Remote set; micro USB cable; No-Fault cable (2); RJ45 Port Saver; RJ45 to Alligator 12-inch; F Female to F Female adapters, F81 (2); BNC Female to F Female adapter; BNC Female to F Male adapter; durable plastic case; and a Quick Start Guide. The Cable Prowler provides full cable testing, displaying wire map, numbered ID remotes, and determining any faults, including shorts, opens, mis-wires, split pairs, and reverses.

Klein Tools has added five new products to its Tradesman Pro Organizers line of tool bags. The Lighted Tool Bag (Cat. No. 55431) features a twist on/twist off LED light that can be positioned to illuminate inside the bag or the workspace. The Work Light (#55437), which is also sold separately, has a swivel hook and magnet for hands free use. The Lighted Tool Bag has 31 pockets for plenty of tool storage, a bright orange interior to find tools faster, and a durable molded base that protects from the elements. The 17-inch Tool Tote (Cat. No. 55432) has an attached cover that protects tools and a movable metal handle bar with rubber grip. There are 17 pockets, plus a wide-open section for drills and zipper bags. The Tradesman Pro Drill Pouch (Cat No. 5183), which fits most impact and battery drills, has a strap closure to keep the drill in place. The Tradesman Pro Hard Cases come in two sizes: Medium (Cat. No. 5184) and Large (Cat. No. 5189), and are designed to protect tools, meters, and tech devices.

The new, larger size pliers wrench from KNIPEX eliminates the need for a full set of wrenches by providing the functions of pliers and a wrench all in one tool. With a length of 16 inches and a capacity of 3-3/8-inches, the new pliers wrench XL features excellent gripping, holding, pressing and bending by employing a 10-to-1 lever ratio. The push-button, positive-locking mechanism allows for a wide range of adjustment positions while the gripping jaws remain parallel regardless of handle position. With smooth jaws, the pliers wrench holds the full surface of a nut or bolt and will not slip or round out the fastener. It will not damage or mar workpieces, making it ideal for work on chrome-plated fittings or soft metals.

Milwaukee Tool continues to expand its storage solutions within the hand tool category with the introduction of a new line of work gear that delivers unmatched durability for the end user. Featuring 1680D Ballistic Nylon Construction and double stitched riveted seams for ultimate wear protection, the new work gear line will include an Electrician’s Pouch, Electrician’s Belt, and Contractor Belt with Suspension Rig. The most compact of the three work gear products, the Electrician’s pouch, features integrated belt loops that allow the bag to be worn on the user’s existing tool belt, as well as center mounted metal d-rings, to allow the bag to hang evenly from the included shoulder strap. For added utility, the pouch has a solid base that allows it to sit upright, even when fully loaded.

Triplett has replaced its CamView PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) part number 8000 with the CamView PTZ 2 part number 8001. This new CamView is the next-generation PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) tester with many added features over the original including a larger color 3.5- inch LCD monitor, 12v/1 amp power output to power CCTV cameras and a larger library of PTZ codes.
