Ovation Gets a Control4 Driver

Ovation takes center stage as Fusion Research launches a new driver for the series of products. This driver takes full advantage of the new Listen features available in the Control4 OS 2.6 software.

The Listen feature is a favorite of the Control4 system, and includes the ability to place streaming apps directly on the home page of a Control4 system. Search, favorites (e.g., stations, playlists), and Pandora thumbs up/down are just some of the new functionality that enhances the homogeneous look and feel of the integrated visual music interface.

“Our engineers worked closely with the Control4 Listen & Watch team from the very early days of development on the new Control4 Listen experience,” said Ingo Schmoldt, VP of sales. “This direct involvement led to not only improved functionality for the Fusion driver, but additions and improvements to the overall experience.”

“Control4 is delivering a reimagined whole-home music experience that allows customers to integrate personal music libraries and over 45 streaming music services, regardless of whether those services originate through Control4 or through great partners like Fusion Research,” said Ross Livingston, Control4 director of Listen &Watch. “Dealers will love the seamless interface between Control4 and Fusion.”

Available now, and compatible with the current line of Ovation products starting at $499 for the single source, high resolution Signature, the Ovation driver for Control4 OS 2.6 is pending final Control4 certification.

Fusion Research is a Control4 certified partner.
