D&H to Educate Dealers at CES

D&H will participate in this year's CES to educate CE dealers about the benefits of a distributor relationship.

Harrisburg, PA–For the first time, D&H Distributing will participate in this year’s CES to educate CE dealers about the benefits of a distributor relationship.

According to the company, with the advent of digital convergence, many IT-based products such as home networking hardware and entertainment PCs can’t be acquired directly. CE dealers are learning to adapt to this new model and adopt distribution strategies in order to create turnkey home networking solutions. At CES, to be held January 6-9, 2005, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, D&H will introduce the value that a distribution partnership can offer and assist them with establishing a distributor relationship.

D&H has invited major manufacturers including D-Link to host kiosks at the D&H booth (#9156 Central Hall at LVCC). This sampling of industry leaders from both the IT and CE arenas will provide a first-hand example of how products from both realms can integrate within a home entertainment network.

“At D&H, we have proven experience creating channel-friendly distribution programs, and long-term relationships with vendors across-the-board,” said Dan Schwab, vice president of marketing at D&H. “We’re renowned for the level of support and partnership we provide, which makes it easy to do business with us. No matter what arena the customer has initially come from, D&H has emerged as a genuine resource for professionals selling these varied technologies, as well as for manufacturers looking to supply this market.”

“We’re happy to help our dealers, and our vendors, make the transition from one marketplace to another,” Schwab added. “It can only benefit CE dealers to get to know these manufacturers and their distribution programs with the help of a trusted partner like D&H. That’s what we bring to the table at CES this year.”
