Legrand introduced the radiant Selective Call Intercom system that brings a new level of convenience and style to room-to-room communication for up to 32 locations. The system is based on the Model IC7001 room unit, which is available individually and in a four-room kit (Model IC7400) that offers an ideal starting point for a best-in-class intercom system.
“The radiant Selective Call intercom adds to the general convenience of room-to-room communication with intuitive features that enable easier control with an LCD display & hands-free call reply,” said Fritz Werder, VP/GM for the company’s Nuvo and On-Q product lines. “It is not only a strong extension of our line of intercom and video door entry components, it is fully compatible with Intuity, our modular, enclosure-based home automation system.”
The IC7001 radiant Selective Call Intercom Room Unit delivers room-to-room communication from an in-wall control point. It offers intuitive navigation and use via its high-resolution LCD screen, along with customizable room naming, room grouping (for calling multiple rooms at once) and monitoring features. In addition, features include hands-free call reply, and do not disturb and mute options that enable users to bypass distractions when they do not wish to be interrupted.
The On-Q radiant Selective Call Intercom was designed to integrate into Legrand’s Intuity Home Automation system.
This IC7400 radiant Selective Call Four-Room Intercom Kit is the perfect starting point for installers to offer customers a best-in-class intercom system. The IC7400 is simple to set up, with no programming necessary, and provides all the components needed to outfit a four-room intercom system, including four Selective Call Room Units, four 2-gang radiant screwless wall plates, one 8-location distribution module and one 30 watt power supply.
With the addition of the optional Video Door Unit, users can also answer the door via the system.
