The Philips Pronto and Marantz RC5000 learning remote controls are now compatible with Crestron home automation and networking solutions.
This new level of interoperability allows both the Pronto and RC5000 to talk directly to a Crestron system over the Cresnet network through the Crestron CNIRGW IR receiver. The CNIRGW is a standard 1-gang Decora-style module that fits into any decor.
The CCF file needed to enable the Pronto or RC5000 to control a Crestron system will be posted in the IR Pickup Area of the Crestron website, located at ftp.crestron.com/library/list/files/?lib=IRPICKUP, and on www.remotecentral.com.
