PMC Ci Series

PMC Ci Series

The six models in PMC’s ci series of in-wall/on-wall slimline speakers bring the company’s studio technology to the CI sector and enable installers to maximize the audio quality that is possible in residential cinema installations. PMC’s slimline monitors are the benchmark in Dolby Atmos mixing studios across the world, including Dolby London, Capitol LA, and Dean Street London. Emmy Award winning PMC’s close involvement with the movie industry goes back to 1991 when it started designing the speakers that are used by the studios to create the soundtracks.

For the CI industry, the ability to specify exactly the same speakers used by the movie makers is the only way to offer customers the same stunning dynamics and awe-inspiring realism experienced in the leading studios.

Like all PMC speakers, the ci series models feature the company’s proprietary ATL bass loading technology and Laminair air flow control for ultra-low distortion and high-resolution playback. All six models are designed with a shallow depth for on-wall mounting and the ci30, ci45, ci65, and ci90slim may also be used in-wall, thanks to the Qikfire spring-loaded mounting system which makes them very “installer-friendly.”

Sound leakage is kept to a minimum thanks to the rear-enclosed cabinets, which don’t rely on the wall’s construction to enhance the sound. With their defined volume, robust construction, on or in-wall mounting options and ATL, the ci series has everything required to deliver awesome cinematic sound for customers who want the authentic Hollywood experience.

RTI Integration Designer 11 Coral Control Programming Software

RTI Integration Designer 11 Coral Control Programming Software

Integration Designer is the engine of RTI control and automation solutions, providing a single programming platform for both residential and commercial applications. While Integration Designer has always enabled full customization, RTI envisioned an interface that minimized programming while maximizing the user experience. The result is Coral, included in the new Integration Designer 11. Coral and Integration Designer 11 dramatically speed up the installation process for projects of any size. A key part of this benefit is the automatic generation of the GUI, with pre-set pages as needed for devices added to the system, and auto-resizing to provide a consistent, intuitive interface across all remotes, touchpanels, and mobile devices. But it’s not just about speed. Integrators can also personalize the auto-generated pages, create their own custom interface, or even add a third-party template.

It also provides integrators with efficiency features like cloning devices, layers, and source bundles. With cloning and layers, Integration Designer allows programmers to quickly manage complex Coral layouts and multiple controllers with ease. Any edits can be automatically implemented globally. Another huge time saver is the program bundling, which allows integrators to export fully developed interfaces for reuse in future projects.

Music is essential to most home systems, and the Coral interface enables RTI Music to really sing, natively integrated in the control experience. For example, users can search in Spotify without leaving the Coral interface.

For the integrator, the tools in Integration Designer 11 behind the Coral interface are just as important, allowing virtually every aspect of the systems to be fully customized to meet any customer need with an elegant solution. And the new Integration Designer 11 includes full integration to the RTI driver library, enabling integrators to find all drivers without leaving the software and searching on a separate driver site.

Wall-Smart Frameless Flush Mount

Wall-Smart Frameless Flush Mount

Brick construction is durable, resilient, can withstand all types of weather, resist moisture, termites , fire damage, and insulate well. However, installing keypads, touchscreens, and other popular smart home technologies into solid, thick wall surface made of concrete, brick, plaster, and other rigid materials has historically been a challenging exercise for builders, architects, and integrators. Wall-Smart has developed a solution to this all-too-common problem.

Designed, engineered, and manufactured to simplify and beautify the installation of a wide range of wall-mounted technologies, its new patent-pending Frameless Flush Mount provides a seamless fit and finish between rugged wall surfaces and sleek keypads, switches, touch panels, tablets, and more without sacrificing the architectural integrity of the structure or the performance of the device. Homes and buildings made of brick and concrete can now provide the innovative efficiencies of technology buyers have come to expect, in addition to unquestionable strength and durability. Furthermore, dealers and integrators can differentiate their businesses with a technology solution that’s simple to deploy and attractive to tech-savvy homebuyers.

The Frameless Flush Mount features a depth-calibration mechanism to ensure a flush appearance. Once the device has been securely mounted and the wall seams covered with a matching material, it looks like a natural part of the home or building with no compromise in performance. The Frameless Flush Mount finally achieves a level of installation simplicity and aesthetic appeal of requisite technology that has been missing in brick and concrete construction.
