Technology Designer Magazine has announced the return of its signature event, Day of Discovery 2025, at CEDIA Expo, taking place September 4–5, 2025, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
The event brings together design-build professionals and residential technology specialists for two days of learning, inspiration, and hands-on experiences. This year’s event features an exclusive Keynote Luncheon with Stephen Margulies on September 4, and curated guided tours of the CEDIA Expo show floor on both days, offering a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading manufacturers and gain practical insights into emerging trends and technologies.
Luncheon and Keynote Presentation
Thursday, September 4 | 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Mile High Ballroom | Keynote Speaker: Stephen Margulies: Founding Partner of One Lux Studio, Stephen is an award-winning lighting designer with over 35 years of experience. He is recognized internationally for his work across commercial and residential environments and brings expertise in intentional lighting to the design-build community. His keynote, “The Business of Intentional Lighting,” will outline the vast opportunities across all trades as lighting becomes a critical driver of design and wellness.
Curated Tours of the Expo Show Floor
Back by popular demand, Day of Discovery will feature guided show floor tours on both Thursday and Friday. These curated tours provide attendees with up-close, hands-on experiences and direct conversations with manufacturers leading the charge in performance home and wellness technology.
