Following last year’s showcase of an ultra-high-end $1M+ private cinema, ASCENDO, AcustiMOD, Christie, madVR Labs, Moovia, Seymour-Screen Excellence, and StormAudio return to CEDIA Expo 2026 in Sound Room 10 (SR10) with a different objective: to demonstrate how integrators can deliver exceptional home theater experiences across a broad range of luxury residential projects.
Rather than exploring the upper limits of residential cinema, this year’s demonstration highlights a scalable approach to system design. Every manufacturer partner in SR10 is recognized as a leader in its category, and the products selected for the demonstration illustrate how the same engineering philosophies that define flagship private cinemas can be applied to projects of varying sizes, room types, and investment levels.
SR10 System Highlights
The audio system will be a 9.8.4-channel home cinema system from ASCENDO Immersive Audio, AcustiMOD, and StormAudio.
ASCENDO will debut its new DSP4-6602 DSP/amplifier, showcase THE18 SUB Passive Vented, and unveil a new audio innovation on day one of CEDIA Expo. Powering the immersive audio experience is StormAudio‘s Fusion 20 receiver, combining reference-level surround processing and amplification into a single platform designed for premium residential theaters.
AcustiMOD — built on the heritage of Officina Acustica — will outfit the room with a sophisticated modular acoustic architecture system that offers an engineered, repeatable approach, bringing the standards of bespoke acoustic design within reach across a wide range of budgets.
Stellar picture quality combines the latest projection technology from Christie and Seymour-Screen Excellence. Christie projection technology reveals every detail with exceptional contrast, rich color, and striking 4K clarity, delivering an immersive cinematic experience that draws you into every scene.
Seymour-Screen Excellence’s reference Enlightor-Neo acoustically transparent, multi-format, patented screen is the only retractable screen with deep velvet borders and concealed tab-tensioning, no minimum seating distance, motorized masking, and integrated black backing.
The image processing will be handled by the madVR Envy Core MK2, which makes reference-grade video processing more accessible. Featuring patented HDR dynamic tone mapping, full HDMI 2.1 8K input support, AI-powered upscaling, Dynamic Subtitle Overlay, and advanced screen masking automation, the Envy unlocks the full potential of every display.
Finally, Moovia, designed and manufactured in Germany and Europe, will show its Marbella media sofa for long-lasting audience comfort and style. This design is as at home in the cinema as it is in any other room, offering designers, dealers, and clients something unique, with boundless customization options for the end user. The sofa is controlled by the new Moovia app, streamlining control and automation for integrators and their clients with a tactile new user interface.
