The 4th Annual TOLA Expo 2024 has been announced for May 8-9, 2024, at the Dallas Trade Mart (Atrium), 2100 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas, adjacent to the World Trade Center. The TOLA region is the South-Central sales territory of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The TOLA Expo is jointly hosted by Samsung Electronics and four leading sales companies: Bell & McCoy Integrated Solutions, Elite 3 Pro, Momentum Marketing, and Rio Grande Reps.
The TOLA Expo brings together the best brands, press, education, and regional integrator attendees. On Tuesday, May 7, 2023, the day before the opening of the TOLA Expo, the Architechnology Event, an invite-only event for the regional residential specifier community, such as interior designers, builders, and architects, will receive a VIP experience starting with a lunch-time panel discussion hosted by Josh Christian, CEO of the Home Technology Association. After lunch and learning, there is a packed day of CEU-accredited courses. “Health, Safety, Wellness” runs until a little after 5:00 PM and will turn into a cocktail mixer event hosted by Samsung in its Experience Center. Several lighting and other technology manufacturers will be set up with a tabletop to educate the specifier community about their products during the mixer event.
With the advent of lighting fixtures in the AV channel more than 5 years ago, interior technologies, including indoor and outdoor shades, have become a bigger revenue factor for many custom integrators across the nation. Because of this, they have become an emphasized growth factor for TOLA Expo 2024. More than 20 lighting, shade and drapery manufacturers are exhibiting, and the list continues to grow. If you are an integrator who wants to explore or expand these categories, this would undoubtedly be an event you want to attend.
TOLA Expo is a mini-trade event held in a not so ordinary venue. The facility is home to several interior lighting showrooms. It’s also where one of Samsung’s Experience Centers is located, which will be open during the event. The show takes place in The Grand Pavilion, “the atrium” of the Dallas Trade Mart. It is open from the atrium to the glass ceiling of this four-story building, giving the show a big open feel. When you visit exhibitor booths like Lutron, AV Pro Edge, SeeLess Solutions, DMF Lighting, Somfy, Screen Innovations, Crestron, Origin Acoustics, Barco, Wisdom Audio, and so many others, you don’t feel crowded.
Knowing that education is an important value for salespeople, project managers, technicians, and business owners, a variety of courses will be offered throughout the Expo event. Most courses are free to attend, whereas some certification courses might ask for a nominal fee.
The TOLA Casino Night Party for Expo attendees will be held on Wednesday, May 8, at the Dallas Marriott Suites Medical/Market Center with food, drinks, and casino games.
