ADI, CEDIA Offer Business Operations Training

The one-day workshop will provide dealers with practical and established methods for success in a competitive market.

Melville, NY–ADI has teamed up the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) to expand its educational offering and deliver Business Operations Makeover training classes at branches across North America. This brand new course gives dealers the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience to thrive in todays competitive environment.

The full-day workshop features practical and established methods for business owners and managers including project, resource and financial management. Attendees will be given the tools to develop a clearly defined operations road map to successfully market their products and company. Dealers will learn to identify company resources and capacity, and complete projects with limited resources in a given budget and timeframe. Management techniques will be presented, and the integration of metrics to track future production will be discussed.

The Business Operations Makeover training is a fresh new course offering for CEDIA and we are pleased to launch it in collaboration with ADI, said Margaret Sheehan, senior director of professional development at CEDIA. Both CEDIA and ADI are committed to providing the highest level of education to dealers to help them expand and prosper, and raise the overall standard of excellence in custom electronics.

The Business Operations Makeover course will be instructed by Leslie Shiner, M.B.A., owner and principal of The ShinerGroup and Sam Cavitt, founder and President of Media Environment Design (MED). Additional CEDIA courses offered at ADI branches include Home Theater Audio Boot Camps, Installer Level I Review and Exam, and Custom Home Theater Delivering the Cinema Experience.
