AHA Distributing Consolidates Florida Operations

AHA Distributing has made the decision to consolidate their Florida operations to their Boynton Beach location.

AHA Distributing has made the decision to consolidate their Florida operations to their Boynton Beach location.

“We have successfully serviced the Florida market from our Tampa location since October 2014,” said Chris Gilray, president and owner of AHA Distributing. “When we acquired Electronics Source in February of 2016, we watched the business grow and it hasn’t stopped yet. Having a pickup location on the east coast of Florida clearly identified where the bulk of our business was being done. Even in the midst of the competitive landscape of multiple distributors all located in South Florida, we have had major success with our Boynton Beach location and we want to focus our time and resources in this physical location while continuing to grow the Florida market as a whole.”

Gilray went on to say that the customers serviced by the Tampa branch can expect the same great customer service that AHA Distributing is known for with the retention of Richard Soto as an inside sales person.

“Strong relationships and great customer service has been the AHA motto since day one,” said Gilray. “Filling that void for the customers I was speaking to as a manufacturer’s rep was the very reason I started a distribution company.”

To continue to provide a presence in the Tampa market, AHA will retain Richard Soto, inside sales representative, as well as the Tampa branch contact number.

“With the consolidation of the Florida operations to Boynton Beach, our customers will get a full service branch with over 5,000 square feet of warehouse space and a full size training room. With over 60 percent pickup business and the addition of brands like JVC, eero, Digital Watchdog, Screen Innovations, Seura, Denon and Heos now being available to the Florida market, this move just made logistic and economic sense. We’ll still have everything our customers need and we’ll only be a phone call away.”
