AVAD has promoted Timo Hildebrandt to director of vendor business management. The five-year company veteran has served as sales associate and branch manager and most recently senior vendor business manager at the AVAD Van Nuys branch.
In his role as a senior vendor business manager, Hildebrandt has played a key role in developing and facilitating profitable partnerships for AVAD and vendor partners, as well as managing new vendor selection, including the many new vendor announcements from AVAD this year, including LG, Integra, Onkyo, Suera, Hikvision, Klipsch, and Jamo.
In his new role as director of vendor business management, Hildebrandt will lead the VBM group and take direct responsibility supporting VP of sales and vendor management Jon Zabel for all vendor relations with branded suppliers, promotions, and training, as well as line extensions for AVAD’s house brands, ProConnect and Pro Flex.
“As AVAD’s director of vendor business management, I look forward to continuing to work with many of our vendor partners, as well as grow new partnerships to continue to provide our dealers with high-quality, industry leading products,” Hildebrandt said. “As a former sales associate and branch manager, I have worked with many of our dealers on a sales level, and I understand the products they need to grow their businesses, which we at AVAD will continue to provide to them.”
“We congratulate Timo Hildebrandt on his promotion to director of vendor business management,” Zabel said. “Timo has played an integral role in AVAD’s expansive growth through the addition of new vendor partners and has a deep technical understanding to advocate our vendor brand partner’s product offerings to both our internal associates and the dealer base.”
