AVAD Upgrades Houston Offices

AVAD hosted a grand opening of its new 22,000 square foot Houston branch earlier this month. The event featured the unveiling of the branch's newly designed showroom, limited time promotions, and other exclusive benefits for area integrators.

AVAD hosted a grand opening of its new 22,000 square foot Houston branch earlier this month. The event featured the unveiling of the branch's newly designed showroom, limited time promotions, and other exclusive benefits for area integrators.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m., guests explored the new showroom and interacted with over a dozen of the industry's leading brands. The new branch expands from the former 12,000 square foot location to include a newly designed theater room, new training facility for AVAD University courses, new will call area, and updated dealer-friendly loading dock for improved convenience. Additionally, the branch now features a 133-inch curved Black Diamond screen for video demonstrations.

Industry leaders such as Bose, Current Audio, InFocus, Martin Logan, Middle Atlantic, Klein Tools, Surgex, and others were in attendance demonstrating their latest products. AVAD customers also enjoyed complimentary food and drinks throughout the day. Dozens of integrators took advantage of the event's exclusive promotions and giveaways, which add to the opportunities at AVAD's many annual Vendopalooza and VendoCOMM events. As with other new branches, the cable for the new branch was provided by Gepco pro-AV cabling and custom solutions, an industry-leading brand of General Cable.
