Bowers & Wilkins has announced the second in the company's series of VIP-only listening sessions, starring Oscar-winning actor and musician Jeff Bridges.
The Sound Sessions are a series of intimate, exclusive listening events where popular artists and select fans come together to experience a newly released album on audio products from Bowers & Wilkins, including the Zeppelin Air and P5 headphones. This particular event, to place at the Troubadour on June 28 in West Hollywood, CA, will also be followed by a special private performance by Bridges highlighting a series of songs from his upcoming album.
Bridges plans to release a self-titled major-label debut album for Blue Note Records/EMI Music Group on August 16. The album reunites the actor with his Crazy Heart collaborator, the Grammy Award and Oscar-winning songwriter, musician, and producer T Bone Burnett.
The Sound Sessions are promoted through Bowers & Wilkins social media sites, including Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as music blogs, websites, and artist pages inviting fans and followers to register to win tickets to attend the event at bwsoundsessions.com. Winners will receive a pair of tickets granting them VIP access to the private Bowers & Wilkins Sound Session event, a meet-and-greet with the artist, and a pair of Bowers & Wilkins P5 headphones.
“The Bowers & Wilkins Sound Sessions are the ultimate compliment to our portfolio of best-in-class performance audio products,” said Tyler Fairchild, director of strategic brand development for Bowers & Wilkins. "These exclusive Sound Sessions enable us to share our 45 year commitment to building the most extraordinary loudspeakers and audio systems in the world with fans and musicians alike who are truly passionate about music."
