Capitol to Hold CEDIA Scan Giveaway

Capitol is giving dealers an added incentive to visit the company’s booth during CEDIA 2016, September 15–17 in Dallas, TX.

Capitol is giving dealers an added incentive to visit the company’s booth during CEDIA 2016, September 15–17 in Dallas, TX. Dealers who have their badges scanned at the Capitol booth will automatically be entered into the company’s CEDIA Scan Giveaway drawing for a free Denon HEOS Wi-Fi stereo amplifier, a pair of Boston Acoustics CS 23 II two-way 3.5-inch bookshelf speakers, and a Bluetooth dongle.

“It’s an understatement to describe a show attendee’s schedule as filled to the brim,” commented Curt Hayes, president and CFO Capitol. “We appreciate the time we spend with hundreds of new and familiar dealers at CEDIA, so we’re giving them an extra incentive to stop by and see the most profitable products leading the charge in the custom market today.”

Denon HEOS brings the company’s audio to any—or all—rooms in the home by easily connecting via Bluetooth or an existing Wi-Fi network through the HEOS app, available for iOS, Android, and Fire devices. It instantly gives users multi-room audio control at their fingertips, commanding music in every room from any HEOS device. Another bonus is the ability to stream the Bluetooth content from one speaker to other speakers over the Wi-Fi network and add one new HEOS HS2 device to an existing HEOS product without concern of compatibility issues.

Boston Acoustics’ CS 23 II bookshelf speaker epitomizes the company’s approach ensuring high-performance sonics across a wide range of frequencies. The CS 23 II is outfitted with Boston Acoustics’ Deep Channel Design: the polymer woofers are injected with graphite, allowing them to produce a more resonant bass sound without bottoming out. The tweeters feature a soft-dome design and have been treated with a stiffening agent to eliminate the high-frequency feedback that usually accompanies metal tweeters. Together, the tweeters and woofers are able to reproduce frequencies ranging from 120Hz to 25KHz, ensuring faithful playback of any music genre or audio format.
