Located in Park City, Utah, the Montage Deer Valley is reminiscent of the great mountain lodges of the West — a refined mountain resort promising a classic on-mountain getaway for all seasons. The hotel recently installed a Control4 system to fulfill the promise of state-of-the-art technology at their fingertips.

The platform is now running in 154 deluxe guest rooms and 66 suites at the Montage Deer Valley, which opened in December 2010.
The Control4 implementation at Montage Deer Valley includes lighting control, advanced temperature control, fireplace control, effortless entertainment, remote controlled privacy settings, and energy saving features, to enhance the guest experience.
“The Control4 hospitality solution represents an excellent balance in providing in-room automation services for our guest’s enjoyment and convenience, coupled with an integrated energy management tool to operate our business,” said Bill Claypool, vice president, development services at Montage Hotels & Resorts.
“Hotel guests are looking for the ultimate in comfort and convenience when they visit world class resorts,” said Paul Williams, vice president of hospitality for Control4, “Control4 works with a group of specialized Hospitality Solutions Integrators that help hotel owners determine what will maximize the vision for their property. They then design a system to enhance the guest experience while achieving the goals of management.”
This is the second implementation of Control4 within the Montage collection. Montage Beverly Hills, “where modern-day indulgence meets sustainability,” is a nine-story hotel in Beverly Hills’ legendary Golden Triangle. The hotel features more than 200 guest rooms each with Control4 offering guests a customized experience for entertainment, lighting, temperature and privacy.
Control4 will be exhibiting and demoing Control4 Suite Systems in a private suite at the The Driskill Hotel across from the Austin Convention Center during HITEC, from June 20 – 23.
