Certified Cyber Solutions has released the Cisco Configuration Manager for the Home Cyber Shield remote monitoring and system management platform.
The HCS system can now detect any changes in the configuration of Cisco routers and switches and notify a System Administrator via text or email. This is critical for maintaining the performance and reliability of the digital backbone of any residential or commercial IT network.
“Cisco products are widely used in both residential and commercial networks, and integrators rely heavily on their health and performance, not only for routing functionality, but also for security purposes,” said Doug Weinstein, president of CCS. “Any configuration changes, whether caused by cold restart, technician error, or malicious activity, needs to come to the attention of the system administrator as quickly as possible. Our new Cisco Configuration Manager will notify the appropriate personnel via text, email or visual display in case of any configuration changes, with the added bonus of utilizing our QuickLink feature that allows the administrator to immediately launch into the product without the need to look up IP addresses and log-in credentials. Now, Cisco router service issues can be addressed promptly and efficiently.”
