Indianapolis, IN–The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has announced that only one week remains to take advantage of the west coast’s last chance for CEDIA University training before CEDIA EXPO in Denver, CO, in September. CEDIA will bring training to San Francisco, CA, on July 25 through July 28.
The training event, part of CEDIA’s CU On the Road program, will feature Core Curriculum courses from CEDIA’s Electronic Systems Technician (EST) and Electronic Systems Designer (ESD) tracks. Product training will be provided at no charge by sponsor Monster Cable, and exclusive full-day workshops will allow attendees to explore key subjects in-depth.
“CU On the Road is a strong component of our CEDIA University offerings,” said Margaret Sheehan, CEDIA’s senior director of professional development. “This month, we’re able to deliver training to west coast students who would otherwise have to travel cross-country to access this level of education. CU On the Road is part of our commitment to making CEDIA education more accessible to more technicians and designers,” Sheehan said.
In addition to providing a chance for attendees to sharpen their design/install skill sets, the CU On the Road event will provide the continuing education units (CEUs) necessary to maintain any CEDIA Certification they may hold. CEDIA Certification reviews and exams will also be offered for attendees wishing to test for the Installer Level I or Installer Level II Certification credentials.
