Clare Controls, the newest player in the home automation systems space has appointed Stagg Ventures to serve as a manufacturers sales representative throughout Canada. Stagg Ventures will assist Clare Controls in bringing its products, including ClareHome, a home automation system managed from the cloud and run on a Mac, to dealers throughout Canada.

“In addition to its outstanding reputation, what impressed us so much about Stagg Ventures is the company’s strategy to minimize the number of management levels between a brand and dealers,” said Brett Price, founder and CEO of Clare Controls. Clare Controls is committed to maximizing dealer efficiency and we look forward to working with Christopher Stagg and his team at Stagg Ventures to support dealers throughout Canada.”

“Clare Controls’ products will be a tremendous asset to dealers and their customers throughout our territory,” said Christopher Stagg, president of Stagg Ventures. “Dealers will now have access to products, including ClareHome, which will allow them to greatly streamline the process of deploying and managing home automation systems from the cloud.”

By utilizing cloud-based technologies, dealers can configure, deploy, service and monitor the ClareHome solution, while the system runs on a Mac mini locally in the home. The ClareHome solution enables end users to not only control their homes through Apple iPads, iPhones, and web browsers, but also modify their own user experience within the system. By accessing the cloud-based Applet library, the user may customize their interface instantly without the help of a professional programmer or technician.

ClareHome from Clare Controls will make its official debut at CEDIA EXPO 2011.
