Crestron has added another showcase facility to its lineup of worldwide Experience Centers and Design Showrooms.
Located in the Pacific Design Center (PDC) in West Hollywood, CA, the 3,500 square foot showroom is an ideal setting for interior designers, lighting designers, architects, builders, homeowners, and custom installers to experience cutting-edge Crestron Integrated by Design home technology in real-life settings the company says.
Visitors can see firsthand how technology can be artfully blended into any interior design. The PDC is widely recognized as California’s premiere design center and hosts more than 130 showrooms that represent thousands of leading manufacturers dedicated to offering the best interior furnishings, educational opportunities, and home design resources.
“The opening of our newest Design Showroom marks an open invitation for guests to come and use this beautiful, functional space where you can see and demonstrate Crestron Integrated by Design home technology in real-life settings,” said Ami Wright, Crestron residential vertical marketing director. “The design community knows that clients want the latest technology in their homes, but find it challenging to keep up with what’s possible. The showroom makes it easy to see and actually experience the possibilities, discover how easy it is to use, and how to blend it into any interior design.”
The showroom includes a living room, kitchen and bedroom featuring integrated whole home entertainment, lighting control, motorized shades, heating/cooling, security and energy management. Guests simply press a button on Crestron touch screens (as well as keypads) and Apple or Android devices located throughout the space to control the entire showroom. The showroom is truly unique as it also includes a Technology Design Studio and Shade Design Studio, which are valuable resources when collaborating to make Crestron design selections.
In addition to participating in PDC-sponsored events, including Spring and Fall Market, Crestron will host educational seminars, panel discussions and exclusive VIP events throughout the year in the design showroom.
