Scottsdale, AZ–DBL Distributing has made key executive appointments in its product purchasing group. With the appointments of Richard Kaye, Rich Lee and Al Brandow, DBL has added three senior buyers with vast consumer electronics experience and industry knowledge in the area of consumer electronics product purchasing.
Richard Kaye, a 20-year industry veteran, will manage the relationships with key manufacturers in the photo/video, personal portable, and telecom segments. In his role, Kaye will build upon existing relationships and add valuable manufacturers to DBL’s extensive list of manufacturing partners. Kaye’s career is highlighted by many buying positions within the consumer electronics industry. Most recently Kaye held the position of senior buyer for CompUSA.
Rich Lee has been assigned as senior buyer for the home theater category. He will be responsible for the key purchasing decisions related to product selection, pricing and stock levels of all television, audio/video components and related accessories. An experienced consumer electronics buyer, Lee comes to DBL with over 15 years experience in purchasing consumer electronics. Lee mostly recently he was senior buyer of consumer electronics for Electronics Expo.
Al Brandow comes to DBL as a senior buyer to purchase TV mounts, AV care, computer accessories, memory and blank media. Bringing with him over 20-years experience in purchasing consumer electronics, Brandow mostly recently was consumer electronics buyer for Boscov’s Department Stores.
