EDGE Distributors Expo Set for Late May

Dallas, TX — The Fifth-Annual Consumer Electronics Expo 2009, sponsored by The EDGE Distributors Group, will be held at the Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco Hotel, Convention Center & Spa, May 30-31 in Frisco, Texas. The trade-only event will offer seminars and training sessions, access to factory representatives, special show prices, and an exhibition of the top brands from more than 75 manufacturers of home and mobile electronics products.

CEE 2009 will be hosted by The EDGE Distributors Group member Electronic Lane along with Electronic Lane Mobile, Sunbelt Associates & Distributing, and Southwest Electronix. In addition to last year’s returning co-sponsors — ERA Marketing, Lesco Distributing, and PCI — distributors Elite Marketing and Integrators Depot also will join this year’s roster.

According to Katye McGregor, manager of the CEE 2009 and director of The EDGE Distributors Group, more than 600 dealers are expected to attend.

“For those dealers who can’t get to national tradeshows either due to project commitments or economic pressures, CEE 2009 represents a great opportunity to catch-up on the latest technologies and meet the many manufacturer representatives and local-area suppliers,” McGregor said.

Show management has secured a block of rooms for attendees at the Embassy Suites at a rate of $129 per night, which includes breakfast and an evening reception. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Dealers planning on attending should register at www.ceexpo2009.com.

”There will be plenty for dealers to do and see at this year’s event. Aside from a wide-variety of exhibits, there will be manufacturer trainings to attend, as well as the return of Casino Night — our popular Saturday-night event in which all proceeds are donated to charity,” McGregor added.
