ELAN Companies Increase International Presence at ISE

Lexington, KY — ELAN Home Systems, along with sister companies Sunfire and ATON, will have an increased presence at this year’s “Integrated Systems Europe 2009,” in response to dramatic growth in the European and Asia markets.

The February 3-5, Amsterdam event is Europe’s number one show for professional audio, video, and electronic systems integration. The three companies will showcase their latest products and technologies and will host a special evening reception and event for their international distributors and master dealers. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with each other and the staff present, and cover a number of topics including product updates, new selling opportunities and more. Additionally, ELAN, Sunfire, and ATON will conduct a special Global Partners award ceremony with honors for the company’s top distributors for 2008.

“We are truly excited about being able to meet face-to-face with our dealers and distributors from across Eurasia,” said Cat Fowler, ELAN’s VP of inside sales, marketing, and customer services. “The dramatic growth we’ve experienced over the past year with our valued partners in the region has been exciting and encouraging. ISE is an ideal opportunity to reap on-the-spot feedback from our partners so that we can continue to fine-tune products, selling opportunities, programs and support for even greater success in 2009.”

Michael Murray, ELAN’s international sales manager noted, “While Distribution is individual by brands, showing the complementary product offerings of ELAN, Sunfire, and ATON all in one booth at ISE will make floor time and meetings much more productive and efficient for our international guests. Since these manufacturers have worked together very closely for robust product integration, having access to all companies’ staff to answer technical and connectivity questions will also help dealers package systems of greater value with higher profit potential.”

One new, important component of the tri-brand’s growth is the recent introduction of ELAN Group manufacturer ATON on the international scene. According to Bob Williams, ATON’s general manager, “Our products’ performance, capabilities and value ratio provides our global partners a multitude of new selling applications. We have been successful in creating sweet-spot solutions in the signal routing arena — speaker level, line level, and HD video — all with a unique ease of installation, state-of-the-art quality, and affordability. We’ve been astounded with the sales growth outside North America and are looking forward to building upon our early success.”

While many products and technologies will be shown, key products available will include ATON’s industry-first end-to-end digital multi-room solution (DH44) dubbed “signal routing for the masses,” Sunfire’s Theater Grand Media Server (TGM-100), and ELAN’s new XP-8.4 Wireless Touch Panel (XP-8.4) and just introduced Serial Controller (SC-1). Also being shown for the first time will be ELAN’s new industrial design which will be incorporated into all new and existing core multi-room and entertainment source products.

The ELAN Group of Sunfire, ELAN, and ATON will be co-located at Booth 5P78 with fellow Linear company manufacturer Furman/Panamax. This year’s expo is located at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Central Amsterdam, (Europaplein 2-22) The Netherlands. The ELAN Group will host an exclusive, invitation-only reception for the companies’ international partners on Wednesday February 4, which will include the Top Distributors award ceremony for each of the three brands.
