Electric Shade Company Joins Allied Manufactures of Motorized Products

Loveland, CO — Electric Shade Company has joined the Allied Manufacturers of Motorized Products (AMMP) as the latest founding member. The newly formed consortium consists of leaders and manufacturers of interior and exterior window coverings and shading, projection screens, and media concealment products.

Electric Shade Company was founded in 1994 in South Florida to provide the motorization and automation industries with personalized motorized systems for window coverings and shading.

“AMMP is proud to announce that another visionary company and leader in the motorization industry, Electric Shade Company, has decided to join as a founding member of the Alliance,” said Robin Reining of AMMP. “With Electric Shade’s leadership and expertise of the industry, we’re confident we can continue to build awareness of both AMMP and the motorization industry in general. In order to maintain AMMP’s momentum and growth, it’s especially important that with the help of our members, we continue to educate about the role motorization serves within home and commercial automation.”

AMMP is a collaborative alliance of industry leading manufacturers that aims to generate awareness of creating smarter homes and commercial spaces with automation products, as well as to connect automation dealers with motorization manufacturer dealers. The Alliance brings together the most prestigious manufacturers of interior and exterior window coverings and shading, projection screens and media concealment products as founding members, including BTX Window Automation, Inc., Electric Shade Company Inc., Electronic Solutions Inc. (ESI), Hunter Douglas, Inc., Lutron Electronics Co. Inc., Media Decor, The Right Track, Skyco Shading Systems Inc., Stewart Filmscreen, Vutec Corporation and Window Modes, LTD. AMMP is also currently seeking to add other companies as founding members that are willing to invest in building the home control and home/commercial automation industry.
