Fibaro’s advanced home control electronics are now part of distributor Capitol’s growing menu of connected home products.
Fibaro manufacturers residential IoT solutions and provides an ecosystem that adapts to the specific home’s environment and the needs of its users. Designed for both reliability and ease-of-use, the company’s catalog includes sensors (pictured above), dimmers, wall plugs, remote controls, and data gateways.
“Fibaro is a great example of a company that is clearly focused on using a powerful home network as the backbone of a smart and intuitive web that ties security and controls together in one expandable package,” said Curt Hayes, president and CFO of Capitol. “Not only are their products tailored to the needs of casual users, they also control some of the leading brands in the business, including Russound, Philips HUE, Yale locks, and many more.”
The Fibaro System, known as Home Center, is comprised of a hub and accessory devices using Z-Wave smart home technology, making them compatible with other Z-Wave controllers including URC and RTI. Most recently, Fibaro launched a new product line compatible with Apple HomeKit. All Fibaro products can be controlled and monitored from anywhere in the world via smart phone, tablet or computer.
“At a time when the custom channel is quickly learning to embrace the IoT, companies like Fibaro are leading the charge with a system that provides an easy gateway for consumers to experience the many benefits of a connected home,” Hayes said.
