Focal Naim America has released the Mixed on Focal #7 playlist of 30 songs with almost two hours of music from a host of mix engineers using Focal Professional monitors. The playlists are available today to Focal Hi-Fi and Pro Audio dealers and current and prospective customers on the Focal Pro Experience website.
The “Mixed on Focal #7” playlist features a wildly eclectic blend of 30 stereo tracks mixed by engineers Will Yip, Bobby Campbell, Mike Pepe, Nick “Squids” Squillante, Luca Pretolesi, Robert Guzman, Jimmy Bralower, Brad Smalling, Athena Wilkinson, Mike William Levine, Rob Tavaglione, Darrell Thorp, Callum Connor, Andrew Wuepper, and Keith Harris co-mixing with engineers Dylan Dresdow, John D. Norten, and Kevin Abdella for the “Keith Harris Experience.” Focal professional monitors used for the stereo mixes include Trio11, Trio6, Twin6, Shape 40, and Alpha Twin Evo.
Music artists on the playlist include David Archuleta, Rosie Mac, Hannah Duckworth, Keith Harris (featuring Church Boi), Jillian Rossi, Senses, Orca The Band, Origami Angel, Balance and Composure, Gentleman Deluxe, Bouncing Souls, Estelle, Goapele, Mela Lee, apl.de.ap & Sandra Park, Shndo, Seven Lions (Featuring Lilly Ahlberg), Fletcher, O Manhattan: The Project!, Free Nationals (featuring Anderson Paak), ACRAZE, Juicy J & Endea Owens, Jason Miles, Michael William Levine, Patrice Covington, Samuel Cohen, Aidan Canfield, and Priscilla Ahn.
The new “Mixed on Focal” playlist is available today for HD audio streaming services Apple Music, Amazon Music, Qobuz, and Tidal, as well as Spotify who have released their new version with CD-quality compatibility. New playlists are to be released periodically.
Also available is the “Holiday Cheer Mix” Immersive Vol. 2 playlist where all the music was mixed or mastered with Focal. The playlist features holiday music from the “a capella choir” Chanticleer, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Luther Vandross, NSYNC, and Preston Pablo. Mix engineer Bobby Campbell and mastering engineers Marc Theriault and Michael Romanowski are featured on the “Holiday Cheer Mix” playlist. Le Lab Mastering Studios uses Focal Trio11, Trio6, and Solo6 professional monitors, while Coast Mastering uses Focal Stella Utopia EM and Utopia Diablo Evo Hi-Fi speakers. Bobby Campbell’s studio features Focal Trio11, Trio6, and Solo6 professional monitors.
