Lyndhurst, NJ–Harvey Corp., owners of Harvey Electronics A/V retailers in the New York City area, will be implementing the Monster Reference Home Theater Music Experiences (MRHTME) with dedicated rooms in all seven Harvey stores. Kickoff training, performed by “Head Monster,” Noel Lee, took place recently at the newest Harvey Electronic location in Eatontown, New Jersey.
“I am enthusiastically optimistic that working together we can reverse the trends of decreasing audio sales,” Lee said. “MRHTME presents audio to consumers in a very compelling way.”
MRHTME features MoDesign speaker systems and component centers, and the Monster Power Backbone, which includes the new Monster Home Theater Music Reference Power Amplifiers.
“The genius of MRHTME is its lifestyle approach,” said Franklin Karp, president of Harvey. “It’s truly eye-opening, and shows an intrinsic understanding of how to sell to the whole family, especially women. The equipment is stylish and beautiful, and it also performs spectacularly.”
Lee agreed that an MRHTME room is intended to look warm and inviting, like a family’s home. “We understand completely how home theater must appeal to design conscious family members of all types.”
Harvey has committed to dedicated MRHTME rooms in every store, and already has rooms in three locations that are up and running. The other four locations are being prepped for the installation of the systems “Our people are ready because Monster and MoDesign were ready for us,” Karp said. “The training is outstanding.”
